Ipoh Old Town
Voted 9th of the World’s Top 10 Regions 2017 by Lonely Planet. It is a quaint city with its old town’s charm of colonial-style coffeeshops, pre-war architecture and come with modern flash of street art brightening the weathered corners. Concubine lane, Kong Heng Square, the museum just within the short walking distance. Stimulate your taste bud by trying the famous old town white coffee and authentic street food.
Ipoh Railway Station / Town Hall
Designed by Arthur Benison Hubback with British Indian Colonial architecture, the current station was officially opened in 1917 still function until today, also known as the Taj Mahal of Ipoh by its locals. The building also houses a station hotel called the Majestic Hotel.
The famous unfinished / ruined mansion was construct by Scottish planter William Kellie Smith as a gift to his wife. The mix culture of architecture also used as a setting in the 1999 film Anna and the King and 2000 Hong Kong film Skyline Cruisers.
